Spencer Shaver - Pursuing a Life of Passion

In life, it is important to pursue your passions. This is a life motto that Spencer Shaver uses to make decisions for his life both professionally and personally. He currently works as an independent business consultant and in this role he has been able to help many businesses around the country achieve their business goals. While this is his current position, it is not the role he got started in. Spencer Shaver has always been a man of many interests and from this passion for learning and for life, he has been able to have successful careers in a multitude of fields.

Spencer Shaver describes himself as a “semi-native” of Colorado Springs, and in Colorado, he has been able to found multiple companies and grow his skills since graduating from the University of Colorado Springs and making Colorado his home. Spencer Shaver began his career in sales. From there, he learned and developed all the way to the position of Personnel Director as well as company sales trainer. He enjoyed helping others learn the ropes and become successful himself, but after a time, he felt the need to branch out and try something else for a career. He wanted to find greater satisfaction in his work. So, he also started to work as a professional composer writing music for both television and film for almost ten years while working in sales. This allowed him to create without the concern for income, but also help people which has always been a satisfying role for Spencer Shaver.

Puruse your passion is a life motto that Spencer Shaver lives his life by both professionally and personally. Spencer Shaver is a man of many interests and from this passion for life, he has been able to have successful careers in multiple fields.

As a self described “semi-native” of Colorado Springs, Shaver has been able to found multiple companies and grow his skills since his graduating the University of Colorado Springs. Spencer Shaver got his start in sales, learning and developing to the position of Personnel Director and company sales trainer. While aspects of the job were elements that Shaver was fond of, he did not find himself satisfied. So, he also started to work as a professional composer writing music for both television and film for almost ten years.

In the spirit of following his passion, he discovered a way to combine his love for martial arts and his deep entrepreneurial spirit by starting his own martial arts school where he could train local, regional and national martial arts champions. This passion for martial arts came from his own abilities in that he started performing martial arts as a teenage and became nationall champion in 1990. His love for the arts is also still active in his life as he serves at the church and has performed on many Christian worship teams. He still currently lives in Colorado Springs with his wife and son.
